No development around New Bern offers coastal living with such a variety of alternatives to chose from. We have traditional homes, luxury homes, townhomes, patio homes, and even a few condos in our neo-traditional neighborhood of Carolina Commons, with prices ranging from under $200,000 upwards to $750,000. Many of our residents have purchased home sites and built their dream home, either selecting from a Featured Builder portfolio of homes, or custom designing a home for their special tastes. This allows the future owner to pick both a preferred neighborhood as well as a setting, whether natural, open, or forested, perhaps with views to Brice Creek, a wetland, a pond or lake, or the golf course. With home site prices from under $50,000 to over $120,000, budget can meet venue. Our homes and home sites are offered by our developer exclusive sales agency, Land Concepts and Solutions LLC. All agents know intimately all real estate within Carolina Colours, and have visited regularly all homes for sale. Both developer owned and resale properties are offered, so whether one is looking for retirement living or a great family home, our agents can quickly identify what best meets your needs. For special developer owned property incentives, check out the “Market Specials”.
The sizes of home sites, and the homes suitable for construction within each neighborhood, have been carefully selected, based upon the natural topography and the features of each site. All construction requires approval from an architectural review committee, to insure the attractiveness of each neighborhood, but the standards allow for a variety of homes, creating a diverse streetscape within a common framework of value protection. Therefore, one can pick from a highly appointed patio or courtyard home, with yard maintenance provided (Cobblestone); a community of mid-sized sites with portfolio homes priced in the $200,000’s (Bayberry); a neo-traditional neighborhood reminiscent of the historic New Bern homes built more than a century ago (Carolina Commons). Or perhaps a home site on a traditional large lot with a water view would better suit (Waterleaf, Indigo Lakes). And, of course, there are many heavily treed neighborhoods with home sites from a half acre to nearly 2 acres in size, some with creek or golf views (i.e. Sienna Woods, Forest Reach, and Spring Green).
