Carolina Colours Community Neighborhoods
While many developments created in the last 10 years have nice man-made amenities, most feature small lots and cookie-cutter homes. The premise behind Carolina Colours is that while smaller home sites with smaller homes have an important role in a community, the desire of many for the traditional, near half acre or larger home site is still strong, even though largely ignored by planners. What in Carolina Colours is normal as to home site size is often marketed as “estate sized” in other real estate developments. Traditional large sized home sites, featuring southern oriented but eclectic traditional home architecture, is what gives Carolina Colours its uncluttered, green and comfortable vistas. The newest of the traditional home neighborhoods are Spring Green and Waterleaf, but traditional home sites are available in Sage Close, Celadon, Periwinkle, Indigo Lakes, Forest Reach, Viridian and Cerise. We at Carolina Colours are unaware of any recent development in our region that offers such a variety of full sized home sites and traditional homes, where municipal sewage disposal is available, so that large portions of the home sites don’t have to be cleared and flattened for drainage fields, or where the Property Owner Association is not charged with the cost, responsibility and liability of maintaining complex waste treatment collection, treatment and discharge systems.
You can choose a traditional home or home site surrounded by forest, or with creek, pond, lake or golf views. The choice is yours.
