New Bern NC is easily accessible by car, airplane or boat. US Highways 17 (north/south) and 70 (east/west) intersect in New Bern. Interstate 95 crosses US 70 about 80 miles from New Bern, and Interstate 795 joins US 70 near Goldsboro, about 50 miles from New Bern. Interstate 40 goes from Raleigh (where US 70 can be accessed), about 2 hours from New Bern, then proceeds to Wilmington (where US 17 can be accessed), also about 2 hours from New Bern.
The Coastal Carolina Regional Airport is located 5 minutes from Carolina Colours. It is served by multiple flights daily from and to Atlanta (Delta Connections) and Charlotte (US Airways Express). A small airline also connects daily to Wilmington. Most national car rental companies have cars available at the airport.
If coming to Carolina Colours over water, follow the Intracoastal Waterway to the Neuse River, then take the Neuse River to New Bern. In downtown New Bern, where the Neuse connects to the Trent River, there are several marinas. Marina operators can arrange for rental cars.
