Live and Local Tryon Palace Beer Festival

On August 18th, The Tryon Palace Foundation is celebrating Eastern North Carolina’s best brews at “Live and Local: Tryon Palace Beer Festival” on August 18th at the North Carolina History Center in New Bern, NC, from 5 – 9 PM. This exciting event will exclusively feature local breweries, locally-owned food trucks, and live music performed by local artists. Feeling crafty? Learn about the brewing process by seeing a live brew demonstration by a local beer master.
This event is 21+ only, and offers two ticketing options. IDs will be checked before entrance. Festival Ticket includes cover charge, 16 oz souvenir glass, and 12 sample tickets so you can wet your whistle with some delicious brews. If you love what you taste, you will have the option to purchase full pours from the breweries!

Tryon Palace loves Designated Drivers! Take advantage of our “DD – Ticket,” which includes a Tryon Palace koozie and a Pepsi. Event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Featured breweries include Shortway Brewing Co., Brewery 99, Mill Whistle Brewing, BrÜtopia, Fishtowne Brew House, Crystal Coast Brewing Company, and Tight Lines Pub & Brewing Co.!

Food will be available for purchase from Mari’s Hella Fat Food, 3 Kings Food Truck, and La Cocina Del Coqui Food Truck.

Live music will be provided by Peace Soldier and The Joe Baes Project!

Event Price: $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $8 designated drivers (plus tax). Must be 21 or older to enter. ID required.
